Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0514A (2005)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar, Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, Fluorometer, and Thermosalinograph during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0514A conducted in 2005 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Ken L. Smith). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Navigation, Bathymetry, Conductivity, Fluorescence, Meteorological, Infrared Radiation, Visible Radiation, Salinity, and Temperature data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Free drifting icebergs: Influence of floating islands on pelagic ecosystems in the Weddell Sea., and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP05-29815.
