Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0908 (2009)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Fluorometer, Navigation system, Echosounder Sonar, Thermosalinograph, and Meteorological Sensor during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0908 conducted in 2009 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Teresa Chereskin). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Temperature, Visible Radiation, Salinity, Infrared Radiation, Bathymetry, Meteorological, Fluorescence, Navigation, and Conductivity data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: Dynamics and transport of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current in Drake Passage, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT06-36493.
