Title:
Calibrated Hydrographic Data from near the Antarctic Peninsula acquired with a CTD during the Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0705 (2007)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a Sea-Bird SBE-9 CTD during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0705 conducted in 2007 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Bruce Sidell). These data files are of SEASOFT format and include Density, Salinity, Visible Radiation, Fluorescence, Oxygen, Turbidity, Transmissivity, Pressure, Temperature, and Conductivity data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Differential Expression of Oxygen-Binding Proteins in Antarctic Fishes Affecting Nitric Oxide-Mediated Pathways of Angiogenesis and Mitochondrial Biogenesis and Habitat Utilization of Southern Ocean Seals: Foraging Behavior of Crabeater and Elephant Seals Using Novel Methods of Oceanographic Data Collection, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT04-37887 and ANT04-40687.
