Title:
Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the Southern Indian Ocean acquired during the Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0101 (2001)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Gravimeter and Subbottom Profiler during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0101 conducted in 2001 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Amy Leventer). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Bathymetry, Gravity (Field and Free Air Anomaly) data that were processed during the cruise. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Quarternary Glacial History and Paleoenvironments of the East Antarctic Margin and POC Production and Export in the Indian Sector of the Southern Ocean: (mooring recovery), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP01-96521, OPP97-26186, and OPP99-09367.
