Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, Navigation system, Echosounder Sonar, and Fluorometer during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0101 conducted in 2001 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Amy Leventer). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Navigation, Infrared Radiation, Conductivity, Fluorescence, Temperature, Visible Radiation, Meteorological, Salinity, and Bathymetry data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Quarternary Glacial History and Paleoenvironments of the East Antarctic Margin and POC Production and Export in the Indian Sector of the Southern Ocean: (mooring recovery), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP01-96521, OPP97-26186, and OPP99-09367.
