Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0009 (2000)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Navigation system, Meteorological Sensor, Fluorometer, Echosounder Sonar, and Thermosalinograph during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0009 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Craig Smith). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Meteorological, Conductivity, Infrared Radiation, Fluorescence, Temperature, Bathymetry, Salinity, Navigation, and Visible Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Bentho-Pelagic Coupling on the West Antarctic Peninsula Shelf: The Impact and Fate of Bloom Material on the Shelf Floor and Penguin-Krill-Ice Interactions: The Impact of Environmental Variability on Penguin Demography , and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT98-15823.
