Abstract:
This R/V Langseth expedition to the Gulf of Alaska was funded through the USGS by the United States Extended Continental Shelf program to assess potential US claims under the Convention on the Law of the Sea. The survey objectives were to investigate the thickness of the sediments in the distal Surveyor and Baranof fans.
